What a great surprise!

The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Uganda in Kampala, and NUTIP_ Kampala, celebrated the Day of the Entrepreneur on Thursday, November 23rd. The MKB- Nederland, the Dutch association for SME’s, started this tradition in 2016 to recognise entrepreneurs worldwide every year.

They celebrated the achievements of NUTIP members by handing out two awards – a Lifetime Achievement Award and a Best Newcomer Award.

Wagagai ltd, was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Receiving this award’s first edition, is a great surprise and honour, that acknowledges the work done over the last 24 years.

Thank you Karin Boven (ambassador) for hosting this event, and we wish her well, as she will be leaving Uganda this year.
